"Infuse your own kombucha" Workshop
Learn how to make your own Kombucha. Kombucha is a mildly fizzy, fermented drink made from sweetened tea and a specific culture known as a ‘scoby’, short for a ‘symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts’. Good for your health and leave no food waste to the landfill.

Free plant-based food tasting event! You will have the chance to try delicious cuisine from around the world, all while supporting the planet! There will be gifts from our sponsors, educational games, and prizes for you to win!
Vermicomposting, or worm composting is a simple technology that takes advantage of this to convert biodegradable waste into organic manure with the help of earthworms. Participants will experience how it works.
Through a guided experience at HKUST China Garden (near senior staff quarter), participant will be led by a trained guide Amanda through a series of connective invitations that slows you down, awakens your senses, and supports you in building a deep, healing connection with nature.
Transform Waste into Treasure: Experience the Art of Paper Recycling
The winning team of Sustainable Smart Campus Student Competition 2022 is going to organise a workshop for our students to turn paper waste into brand-new products to take home. Paper recycling: paper shredding, blending, and pressing to turn paper waste into pulp with 3D-printed keychain molds.
